There are very few actual CITES certified hoodia providers. There are many companies that claim their product is a natural herbal product but in fact when disected include nothing but fillers, and one of the lowest doses of pure hoodia. This is because of the price - at $330 per kilogram (kg) there is no way that companies can make a profit selling pills in the lower price ranges as Ephedra. Because of this, their sales suffer. Real companies don’t worry about price point because they know the product sells and they can charge a price where they can profit.
“Hoodia Gordonii Plus” is one of the products that contains PURE hoodia. This weight loss product is simple. It contains no ephedra, no ephedrine, and no Ma Juang. These are all dangerous fillers that increase heart rate and cause sweating.
This particular product contains a 10:1 extract which is very good. On top of that, it has green tea extract which helps with detox and overall health. You’re paying for Hoodia Gordonii and getting a bunch of free bonuses.
If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you’ll notice that I only suggest products that contain real hoodia. This is because fakes can cause serious harm. I don’t want anyone trying to lose some weight and ending up hurting themselves or causing permanent health risks. That’s irresponsible.
Check out Hoodia Gordonii Plus and let me know what you think of it. I think this appetite suppressant and weight loss helper will work well for you.

I have managed to find a source that will give you a free sample of hoodia to try, if you’re not sure it will work or not. This free hoodia sample is a 15 day supply, which will give you a small taste of what the product can do for you. Please be aware that this will not be enough to become a part of your regular diet and exercise program. All it will do is show you how much it works. You will need to order more to continue use. But hey at least this is a free start!

Hoodia may sound like some kind of end-all weight loss pill. However it is not the only part of a weight loss plan. Hoodia is only a part of an entire weight loss solution and system. Hoodia is an appetite suppressing succulent, not a weight loss pill. What it does is trick the brain into thinking you are full. It does NOT shed the pounds for you! You need to eat a regular amount of food and take in regular amounts of calories or your body will store fat. So only use hoodia on a normal diet.
Here are the key points about hoodia that you should know:
* Hoodia tricks your brain into thinking you’ve eaten, and makes you feel full.
* Hoodia gordonii looks like a cactus, but it’s a succulent from the Kalahari Desert in southern Africa. Bushmen have been using hoodia for centuries to help keep away hunger during long trips into the desert.
* Hoodia gordonii is natural - it is not a drug. Pharmaceutical companies find it so promising however, that they are trying to isolate the appetite-suppressing molecule P57, to create a patented diet drug in the future.
* Only the gordonii variation of hoodia has suppressing abilities.
* Hoodia may work right away, or may take several weeks. It is variable in people of race and size and shape.
* Key results of hoodia reported include no interest in food, delay in the time after eating before hunger sets in again, feeling full quickly, and a general well-being feeling
* Hoodia gordonii is not a stimulant, and has no known side effects. It does not increase heart rate.
* Hoodia appears to be safe for most people.
It is important you know as much about this product as possible before making a purchase. Obviously you want the best deal possible, but you also want the most effective product on the market. Now that you know Hoodia works, you can pick the right product for you.

You’ve no doubt come here to learn about the effects of Hoodia. It’s first important to learn exactly what Hoodia is before you begin to learn how it works. Make no mistake, Hoodia is not a wonder pill. It is simply and aid to weight loss, although it is a very good aid.
Hoodia is a genus in the plant family Apocynaceae, in the part of the family previously treated as a separate family Asclepiadaceae. They are stem succulents that can reach up to 1 m high and present exuberant flowers, often with flesh colour and strong foul smell which gives away its position. Hoodias are protected plants, typical of the Namib Desert, ranging from Central Namibia to southern Angola, especially in plains and rocky areas in South Africa. Common names include “Bushmans Hat” and “Queen of the Namib”.
That is the Wiki definition.
It was in November of 2004 that Lesley Stahl employed the services of Bushmen to help her find the Hoodia Gordonii plant in South Africa. She was doing an article for “60 Minutes”. Her discovery when she ATE the Hoodia was astonishing. She actually lost the feeling of hunger for several hours. She didn’t WANT to eat anything! Hoodia does not stimulate the brain like Ephedra does. It is not a catalyst. Scientists say it tricks the brain by making you think you’re full.
Hoodia itself is a spikey cactus-like plant. It tastes a little bitter and something along the lines of cucumber. It removes the feeling of hunger and thirst which is why Bushmen eat it, if they are out all day in the desert they can’t always eat and need to be able to store food for long periods of time.
Once Stahl gave that report, millions of people started demanding Hoodia, so South Africa began exporting it in large amounts to certified CITES companies. These companies began putting it in pill form (as the plant isn’t so tasty). These pills were extracted to be more powerful and offer long term effects. Some of the more powerful supplements are quite sophisticated and even people like Oprah have said they work.
The one I have found and recommend is called “Hoodia Rush”. It contains a large amount of Hoodia and is in the mid price range. It also comes from a very respected natural herbal company.

“Stunning Hoodia lab results: Double-blind placebo tests show participants who were given Hoodia effortlessly reduced their caloric intake by 7000 calories each week. This translates to an average weight loss of 2 lbs per week”
Today hoodia gordonii is getting more attention than ever, and for good reason. The pure stuff (imported from South Africa) actually works by eliminating hunger at the chemical level. Although it sounds strange, users report food still tastes and smells good, they just have no desire to eat.
Pure Hoodia has been used by stars of screen and film, as well as average every day folks. It’s been touted as the best weight loss supplement to come along in years. And after our extensive research we’d have to agree! Hoodia is effective. In fact it’s so effective that we only recommend using it if you have 15 - 20 lbs or more to lose. The reason for this is because it works almost without you knowing. It helps cut off the hunger receptors in your brain, which cause you to eat less. You can lose up to 2 full lbs of fat every week. If you’re familiar with diets or supplements of any kind you’ll know that’s impressive!
As we all know, it’s just as important to eat the right things as it is to burn fat. This is where HoodiaRush comes in, the latest most proven brand of hoodia on the market. Unlike competitors, HoodiaRush has certifications and documentation showing its ingredients are pure and natural, and above all potent and effective.
As a rule of thumb, here are three things to look for when purchasing hoodia products.
1. Look for a C.I.T.E.S. Permit. Anyone selling hoodia without proven documentation should be avoided.
2. Look for a dose of 750mg or higher. This will ensure you get the best results.
3. Look for a satisfaction guarantee. This is important. If you don’t see it anywhere on their website then don’t buy!
I hope these tips give you a start on Hoodia. I don’t sell any here, but maybe I can find a product that is cheap enough and good enough to show you.
